CDA, Court of St. Francis #1915 is one of 99 local courts in the state of Louisiana, instituted on February 2, 1964. The group does works of charity and service through the Circle of Love program. The seven points of the Circle of Love program are Family, Quality of Life, Youth, Education, Legislation, Leadership, and Spiritual Enhancement. In addition to works of charity, the group enjoys social activities such as potlucks and trips. DONE IN A DAY
Want to get more involved but your schedule won't allow you to commit to a regular day and time? This is the committee for you! Our STM ministries have various projects throughout the year where extra hands are needed. It requires no prior planning on your part or homework. You just show up, help and then you're 'Done in a Day!" Committee members will be notified of upcoming needs and can volunteer as their schedule permits. HOSPITALITY MINISTRY
The Hospitality Ministry is responsible for planning, hosting and implementing various receptions throughout the year. Volunteers are needed to help set up, decorate reception area, welcome guests, serve refreshments, and clean up after the event. Receptions include, but are not limited to the 80th Birthday Celebration, Confirmation reception, Christmas Open House, First Eucharist receptions, Easter Vigil reception and more. KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS
The Knights of Columbus is an international ministry which began at St. Mary’s Church in New Haven, Connecticut and chartered as a fraternal benefit society on March 29, 1882. The Order is still true to its founding principles of charity, unity and fraternity. KC Council 5530 is open to all men of the parish. The Knights sponsor numerous parish and diocesan programs to benefit youth, seminarians and the needy, including fundraising, cook-outs, seasonal parties, service projects and more. KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS AUXILIARY
MEN’S CLUB
The STM Men’s Club is a social and service organization chartered for adult male members. It is committed to enriching the lives of its members by providing them the opportunity to fully experience the STM tradition of faith and fellowship. As a member of this organization, you will have the opportunity to meet fellow parishioners, make new friends, socialize with old friends and provide valuable services to our parish and school. 55 & ALIVE
Senior Ministry activities at STM, our 55 & Alive Ministry, are open to any parishioner 55 years or over.

55 & Alive offers a monthly meeting of Prayer & Fellowship. Seniors usually gather on the first Thursday of the month from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. or prayer, followed by lunch. Birthdays, holidays, holydays, and big Church feasts are celebrated together
- 55 & Alive also offers two Prayer, Fellowship & Formation days each year. These days feature guest speakers on topics suggested by our seniors, as well as time for prayer and fellowship.
- 55 & Alive also plans two bus trips per year to nearby places of interest, including a stop for lunch.
SINGLE SENIORS

The Welcome Ministry is a group of parishioners that welcome newcomers to St. Thomas More Parish. Each welcome minister will meet and share an information packet provided by the parish office to the newly registered parishioners. WOMEN’S MINISTRY
The Women’s Ministry is a group of women whose mission is to form a network of mothers and families of the parish by providing spiritual, social and service opportunities. The ministry provides family activities, service projects (Angel Tree and Bishop Ott Shelter) and aid to many in need throughout the parish and the Baton Rouge community. This is a perfect opportunity to connect with other families and create lasting friendships. All women in the parish are urged to get involved.
